The Suzuki philosophy promotes that by creating the right environment and circumstances, all children can learn to play an instrument in a joyful way. By using children's natural ability to listen, imitate, and repeat they both learn an instrument as if it were their native tongue, but also learn vital human skills along the way.
As Dr Suzuki so beautifully said:
“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”
