The Violin Effect Studio Tuition System
This allows us to average the cost of lessons over the whole school year into equal monthly payments.
Tuition is due before the first lesson of every month. It covers private lesson and scheduled group classes.
Please note that tuition is nonrefundable.
Single Private Lesson $55
(for those trying it out)
- One 40 minute private class (30 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of processing or additional lesson time)
- At Home Practice Support provided to Student/Parent as needed during the week that the class was taken. Available through text or email.
- Invitation to attend TVE Studio's Monthly Group Class for an additional fee.
Student Monthly Tuition $160
(for those who are dedicated to learning)
- Weekly 40 minute private class (30 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of processing or additional lesson time)
- Attendance at Monthly Group Class (this hour long 'party' class takes place on the first week of the month, replacing the private lesson)
- At Home Practice Support provided to Student/Parent as needed during the week that the class was taken. Available through text or email.
- Automatic Gratis Enrollment for interested Parents in all available online communities and courses.
- Discounted Rate of $145 on Studio Virtual Months
Family
Monthly Tuition $280
(Best value plan for the whole family!)
- Weekly 70 minute private class to be split between siblings as needed (60 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of processing or additional lesson time)
- Attendance at Monthly Group Class (this hour long 'party' class takes place on the first week of the month, replacing the private lesson)
- At Home Practice Support provided to Student/Parent as needed during the week that the class was taken. Available through text or email.
- Automatic Gratis Enrollment for interested Parents in all available online communities and courses.
- Discounted Rate of $260 on Studio Virtual Months
Absences and Summer Enrollment
We are happy to offer you the ability to reschedule your missed lesson times due to illness or a family emergency.
These lessons can be booked to extend your regular lesson time if there are times available, or in any other available spot in addition to your regularly scheduled lesson. They cannot replace or substitute your regular lesson time.
We cannot reschedule lesson slots when a student misses a lessons for any other reason that are not given 48 hours notice. In the event that a teacher misses a lesson, it will either be rescheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for the student and teacher, or we will credit your account.
Students are required to register for a minimum of 6 weeks of summer lessons.
Lessons may be virtual or in person.
Students have the option of taking extra lessons during a single week or scheduling longer lessons throughout the summer to comply with this requirement.
Lessons may be shared with friends and family during this time.
Individual Lesson Pass Packages
For those whose circumstances only allow them to take lessons every other week
Payment is due before/at the first scheduled class and can be paid in check or cash. Refunds are not available but class passes are transferable to another student within the bundle timeframe.
Five Lesson Studio Pass $220

- Five 40 minute private or 60 minute group classes (30 minutes of instruction with 10 minutes of early arrival for private, 60 minutes for group)
- At Home Practice Support provided to Student/Parent as needed during the lifetime of the pass. Available Monday-Friday through text or email.
- Discounted Enrollment for interested Parents in all available online communities and courses.
- Lessons are to be taken by the parent/student at the times best for them from the available booking options within 70 days of purchasing the bundle.
Twelve Lesson Studio Pass $495
(Buy 9 get 3 Free)
- Twelve 40 minute private or 60 minute group classes (30 minutes of instruction with 10 minutes of early arrival for private, 60 minutes for group)
- At Home Practice Support provided to Student/Parent as needed during the lifetime of the pass. Available Monday-Friday through text or email.
- Discounted Enrollment for interested Parents in all available online communities and courses.
- Lessons are to be taken by the parent/student at the times best for them from the available booking options within 5 months of purchasing the bundle.
